At DET Details, we take pride in providing high-quality valeting and detailing services. To ensure fairness, efficiency, and the best experience for all our customers, we kindly ask you to read and agree to the following terms and conditions when booking a service with us.
Booking & Payment
- All appointments must be booked in advance via phone, social media, or our booking system.
- Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
- We accept cash, bank transfer, and mobile payment methods.
Cancellations & No-Shows
- Same-day cancellations will be charged at the full service price.
This is because a cancelled booking at short notice leaves us unable to fill the slot and results in a direct loss of income. - Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice will not incur any charge.
- Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
- Maintenance customers are excluded from this section
Access & Vehicle Condition
- For mobile appointments, please ensure there is safe, legal parking available close to the vehicle.
- If we arrive and are unable to safely access your vehicle or complete the job due to poor access or unsafe working conditions (e.g., parked on a main road), the appointment may be cancelled and charged accordingly.
- We reserve the right to adjust the service or price if the vehicle condition is significantly worse than described at booking (e.g., excessive pet hair, mould, or heavy soiling).
Weather Policy
- In the event of extreme weather (such as heavy rain, snow, or strong winds), mobile appointments may be rescheduled for safety and quality assurance. You will be contacted in advance to rearrange.
Liability
- We take great care with every vehicle, but we cannot accept responsibility for existing damage, poor paintwork, or defects that become visible as a result of cleaning (e.g., scratches hidden by dirt).
- Any valuables should be removed from the vehicle prior to service. DET Details is not liable for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.
Customer Satisfaction
- If you’re not happy with your service, please let us know on the day so we can put it right. We aim to maintain our 5-star reputation with every customer.
- By booking with DET Details, you agree to these terms and confirm you’ve read and understood our cancellation and liability policies.
